Winston Daybed Cushion
The Winston Daybed Cushion has been created by Eva Harlou for the brand Mater. This cushion is designed for use with Harlou's acclaimed Winston Daybed. With it understated tones and fine materials, it will form an appealing counterpoint to Winston's wicker frame construction.
Winston was created by Danish designer Harlou as a tribute to British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill, and it makes several stylistic nods to the aesthetics of the 1940s. The Winston Daybed Cushion fits on top of the daybed, adding extra padding for seating and relaxation, while softening the appearance of the furnishing, which is almost totally formed from wood and wicker.
The Winston Daybed Cushion is made from a mix of jute and cotton and has received the GOTS certification, signifying that it is made from organic, sustainably produced materials. The jute adds a rough texture, while the form of the cushion has been designed to fold in three parts. That way, it can be unfolded for lying down or folded into a thicker cushion for sitting and storage. The cushion measures 185cm long when fully unfolded and has a width of 70cm. It weighs 2kg, and is perfectly proportioned to make Winston Daybeds more comfortable than ever.
