WG 27 Wagenfeld Table Lamp
The WG 27 Wagenfeld Table Lamp has been created by Wilhelm Wagenfeld for the brand Tecnolumen.Designed in the 1930s, it is an apt representation of the Bauhaus style movement. While maintaining a lot of its original features, the brand revamped it in 1979. The new edition has details that optimise its function and bring it to the contemporary side.
The WG 27 Wagenfeld Table Lamp has a wide, cone-shaped shade made of engineered plastic. It is heat-resistant and is overlaid with Chintz fabric. It is topped with a metallic cover that is also cone-shaped. The shade sits on a round plate that matches the shade. It is supported by a metallic stem finished with nickel plating that gives it a look of sophistication. It is anchored by a round base made of glass which elevates the luxurious aesthetic. A pull on the side is used to turn the lamp on and off. It is one of the lamp's original features that was retained.
The WG 27 Wagenfeld Table Lamp has a height of 50cm and a diameter of 44cm. Its base has a diameter of 17cm and its cable is 250cm long. It is not dimmable. The lamp comes in neutral colours. It works with an E27 socket and the bulb has to be purchased separately. All lamps are consecutively numbered under the base and bear the Bauhaus and TECNOLUMEN logos.
