The classic Serie 7 armchair in the Model 3207 is a beautiful design from the year 1955 by renowned designer Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. This series of chairs is by far the greatest commercial success in the history of the Danish manufacturer
The armchair-model shown here is equipped with chrome-plated legs, is lightweight, and stackable, and can be ordered in different versions natural or semi-gloss lacquered , see "product versions".
This compression moulded veneer chair is the advanced version of the three-legged Ant Chair, which was designed by Arne Jacobsen as well in 1952.
The four-legged, stackable chair of the Serie 7 collection could be seen as the climax of veneering technology. With the legendary shape of this chair the visionary Arne Jacobsen maxed out the possibilities of veneering. Serie 7 is Fritz Hansen's collection with the greatest applicability.
