Ray Wall Lamp
Ray Wall Lamp was designed by PEDERJESSEN for the manufacturer Mater.
Mater, a Danish design brand, holds on to a strong ethical philosophy while collaborating with new and established designers to produce lighting, furniture and accessories in Scandinavian design. The company utilises ethically sourced materials to embrace local crafts and minimise environmental footprints. Pederjessen studio was inaugurated in 2015 by Søren Pedersen and Lasse Jessen. The duo has a strong background in industrial engineering and their design studio has produced pieces for various design companies in Denmark and beyond.
The Ray Wall Lamp by PEDERJESSEN is an innovative wall light showcasing an aesthetic attribute of Nordic minimalism. Its outer shell is made of steel and has a wooden inner globe. The FSC®-certified oak shade is not rigidly mounted but rather attached with magnets to allow users to re-orient the light beam in the desired direction. Measuring 11.9 x 31.8 x 17.2 cm, it also has a textile-covered cord at 200cm long.Ray Wall Lamp is available as a pendant, table lamp and wall lamp. The illuminant, a 3.5W LED, suits both residential and public spaces, particularly hotel rooms and hallways.
