Post LED Wall Lamp
The Post LED Wall Lamp was designed by the Earnest Studio for the brand Muuto.
Earnest Studio was created by U.S. designer Rachel Griffin in 2012, and has quickly become a key partner for the Finnish label Muuto. Working out of Rotterdam, Griffin and her team are concerned with creating versatile modular pieces that can be combined as needed to create professional or domestic configurations. Simplicity is always at the core of the team's designs, as is beautifully demonstrated by the Post LED Wall Lamp.
This adaptable and elegant lighting accessory has an understated aesthetic, with its cup-shaped shade forged from durable steel and measuring just 9.5cm in diameter. It comes with a 250cm cable, which allows users to position the lamp well away from mains electricity sockets. This luminaire also boasts another innovative feature which makes it extra adaptable: a magnetic joint which allows the shade to rotate and be angled as needed. Each unit weighs a negligible 0.6kg, and multiple wall lamps can be arranged in combination, creating bespoke lighting setups - ideal for people who like to rearrange furniture, or need to focus on screens or documents.
