Post LED Floor Lamp
The Post LED Floor Lamp was designed by Rachel Griffin of the Eamest Studio for the brand Muuto.
Born in America but based in Rotterdam, Rachel Griffin brings a truly international outlook to her design language, and this elegantly eye-catching modular lamp exemplifies the wide appeal of her work.
Standing 136.2cm in height, the Post LED Floor Lamp features a slender stem of powder coated steel rising from a stable but only slightly less slender base measuring 9.5cm in diameter. Glazed with diffusers of opalescent acrylic, the two LED lighting units are fixed to the stem with puck-shaped magnets. This arrangement makes it easy for the user to adjust the position and angle of the lights. Combining a slim, plant-like design with modern industrial materials, the Post LED Floor Lamp is equally at home in either period or contemporary settings, and is compact enough to slide discreetly into a narrow corner of a crowded living space.If you want to supplement the lamp's lighting rig, you can plug a third unit into the power hub and attach that, too.
