PH 3/3 Suspension Lamp Opal Glass
The PH 3/3 Suspension Lamp Opal Glass has been created by Poul Henningsen for the brand Louis Poulsen. Danish designer Henningsen was one of the leading modernist talents of the 20th century. Introduced in the 1920s, his three-shade PH lighting system revolutionised home lighting design. The PH 3/3 Suspension Lamp Opal Glass is part of that iconic collection which mixes stunning looks with premium performance.
As with other entries in the PH collection, the 3/3 suspension lamp features a trio of shades nested on top of each other and facing downwards. In this design, the uppermost shade is made of die cast zinc while the other two are made from mouth-blown opal glass. Through clever placement and the use of a white inner surface, the lamp creates light that is almost 100 percent glare-free, casting a soft, white light is cast down and around. Downward facing diffusers also help to prevent dust accumulation, keeping them in perfect condition.
The PH 3/3 Suspension Lamp Opal Glass has a height of 30cm and a diameter of 28.5cm, with a weight of 2.3kg. The lamp comes with a 400cm long textile suspension cable and is available in an elegant opal and black colour scheme.
