Pavilion AV17 Desk Frame Chrome
The Pavilion AV17 Desk Frame Chrome has been created by Anderssen & Voll for the brand &Tradition. The design studio is comprised of Norwegian design duo Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll. The designers aspire to create pieces that pay homage to Scandinavian tradition while also being innovative and contemporary. The Pavilion AV17 Desk Frame Chrome is an illustration of this. Designed at the height of a pandemic and the start of a global work-from-home movement, it was designed to address the change. The desk has a tabletop laminated with linoleum and finished with veneered edges. The legs are made from steel tubes that are curved and finished in polished chrome. The back is made from form-pressed veneer.
The Pavilion AV17 Desk Frame Chrome has a height of 81cm, a width of 132cm and a depth of 66cm. The height of the tabletop is 74cm. The tabletop is large enough to accommodate a computer, a lamp, some books and other basics. At the same time, it is not as bulky as a standard desk would be in a study or office. It is just the right size to be in a bedroom, a corner of a living room or other designated workspace.
