Nami LED Suspension Lamp
The Nami LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella for the brand Kdln. Nami means 'wave' in Japanese, and this creation uses reflective glass to conjure up a light that resembles the rippling waters of lakes and seas. Refined and seductive, Nami will be ideal for placement above dining tables.
The Nami LED Suspension Lamp has a grooved diffuser which is shaped like an upturned letter 'U' and fits inside a horizontal metal band. This diffuser is made from curved glass and has been designed to reflect illumination from the internal light source, generating a complex and relaxing glow that covers wide areas below the lamp. It also makes a beautiful contrast with the horizontal band, which comes in a rich brass tone.
The Nami LED Suspension Lamp measures 150cm long, 15cm wide and 23cm high. It hangs suspended from a pair of 180cm long cables, and there is a single rectangular ceiling canopy which measures 24cm long, 8cm wide and 5cm high. The lamp can be dimmed externally if desired, and it uses a set of four light sources to generate a brightness of 4,800 lumens. The luminaire has built-in LED light sources that cannot be replaced.
