Mom Garden Chair
The Mom Garden Chair was designed by Florent Coirier for Emu.
Emu is a celebrated Italian furniture manufacturer which has been creating seating that utilises innovative technology for nearly seven decades. Parisian designer Florent Coirier was inspired by the striking look of trays from traditional Japanese cultures when he created this highly functional but surprisingly comfortable garden chair for the brand.
Made entirely of metal, the main structure of the chair is built with tubular-shaped steel whilst the seat and back have been formed with rows of deep drawn galvanised sheet steel. Each chair has been finished with a trademark coating which involves a process of cataphoresis and painting. The chair is therefore hugely durable and has been designed to withstand all weather conditions. Ideally purchased in multiples for an outdoor space such as a garden, patio or terrace, the chair is also ideal for commercial settings with outdoor areas such as a cafe. The Mom Garden Chair is also available in a carver-style design with arms, which is perfect for seating at the ends of rectangular tables. Both the armed and armless varieties of the chair are matched perfectly with outdoor tables such as the Round Table Garden from the same brand.
