Mini Bottle Coffee Table
The Mini Bottle Coffee Table was designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for furniture label Cappellini.
Barber and Osgerby founded their eponymous design studio, BarberOsgerby, in London in 1996. The duo's work comprises furniture, product and lighting design, as well as architectural and artistic work. Both are Royal Designers for Industry and have won the Jerwood Applied Arts Prize. Significant pieces designed by the duo include the Tip Ton Chair, the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Torch and a specially commissioned £2 coin in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the London Underground.
The Mini Bottle Coffee Table features a quirky bottle-shaped base and circular table top, merging the traditional shapes of the table and bottle for a contemporary effect. The table is expertly handcrafted in satin-effect ceramic materials and is available in a range of stylish modern shades. The table stands at 42cm tall, has a diameter of 45cm and a weight of 14.5kg, providing a robust feel in use whilst remaining easy to move around to meet the user's needs. This versatile piece is ideal for use in any indoor space, including living rooms and bedrooms, and is particularly useful as a side or display table in hallways.
