Mini Block Table Lamp

The Block Mini Table Lamp was designed in 1996 by Harri Koskinen for the Design House Stockholm.
Today the Block Table Lamp counts as one of the internationally famous design lights and has been a part of the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Modern Art MoMA in New York since the year 2000.
Since its introduction to the market the Mini Block Table Lamp has been virtually heaped with design awards - e.g., with the Excellent Swedish Design Award 1998 , with the Design Plus Award 1999 or the Best New Product Awards at the Accent Show in New York 1999 , just to mention a few.
Made of handmade and elaborately processed clear glass you see here a design lamp that is reminiscent of a real block of ice. The two halves of glass envelop the illuminant and provide every room with pleasant illumination.
The Mini Block Table Lamp by Design House Stockholm can also be used as floor light.
