The trio of Argentinian architects, former students of Le Corbusier, worked together in the 1930s to create this innovative chair with a striking design that has earned it a place in New York's Museum of Modern Art. This iconic piece is crafted with a metal frame of tubular steel that holds a suspended seat in a sling design.
The Mariposa Butterfly Chair Green Leather, also known as the Hardoy chair or the BFK chair, is ergonomically designed to cradle the body, making it the perfect seating for lounging and relaxing. The seat was originally leather, but has been made from many different materials over the years. For this new edition, the Swedish interior specialists cuero have used premium 4mm Italian leather, thereby ensuring the chair will hold its shape for many years. They have also improved the original design by increasing the size by 30% to provide even more comfort, and including built-in floor protectors at the base of the chair. The uncluttered avant-garde lines make this stylish chair ideal for displaying in any contemporary space.
