Maija Puoskari is an award-winning Finnish designer who is inspired by nature. Danish design company Mater aims to combine Scandinavian minimalism with ethically-sourced sustainable materials.
The Liuku Drop Suspension Lamp is crafted from FSC®-certified linden wood. A sleek drop shape with a smooth finish, the design is simple yet stands out due to the use of wood, not often seen in lighting. This versatile piece is suitable for residential or commercial use. A single pendant lamp can add soft illumination to a specific area, or several lamps can be grouped to create a larger focal point. Hang three at varying heights in a triangular formation in the centre of the room or in a row above a feature table. Lights can be used with or without shades. Mouth-blown glass shades are available in various colours and styles, including clear and smoky glass. The wooden base of the light measures 14cm in diameter and 19.5cm in height. The shades are 19.5cm in diameter and 31cm in height. The cable length is 200cm and can be adjusted as needed.
