Liuku Ball Suspension Lamp Black
The Liuku Ball Suspension Lamp Black was designed by Maija Puoskari for the manufacturer Mater.
The Mater brand is widely recognized in national and international fairs and exhibitions for promoting environmental protection and sustainability. Maija Puoskari is a Finnish designer who studied at the Aalto University of Helsinki and later opened her studio in Helsinki. Her artisan job of creating cool and simple vases and lamps was inspired by her homeland's barren and wild landscape. Maija?s designs, characterised by a strong and pure form mixed with precise finishing and functionality, have been featured in various exhibition and design projects that have earned her several awards and grants.
Liuku Ball Suspension Lamp Black is a modern pendant lamp made of mouth-blown glass, 19.5cm in diameter and 31cm in height. The glass shade is located over a linden FSC®-certified wood base designed into two different shapes. The lampshade appears either in clear glass or in stylish smoked tones to suit different settings. Also available is a version without the glass shade measuring 14cm in diameter and 200cm in cable length. This lamp can be used as a single pendant or in clusters.
