Lantern Table Lamp M
The Lantern Table Lamp M has been created by Anderssen & Voll for the brand New Works. Anderssen & Voll are a two-man design team comprising the Norwegian industrial designers Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll. The two aspire to represent cultural and market influences in designs that are practical, forward-looking and innovative. The Lantern Table Lamp M showcases this aspiration. It is indeed innovative with its shade made of white frosted glass inspired by the Chinese rice paper that is used to make lanterns. The frosted glass is a step into the future while retaining the paper's weightless glow. The shape and design of the sphere-shaped shade is given centre place with a simple, tubular stem holding it up. The stem is anchored in a circular base. The stem and base are made of powder-coated steel. The lamp can be dimmed using a dimmable switch that is 30cm from the base. It has a PVC cord that is 180cm in length.
The Lantern Table Lamp M has a height of 55cm and a diameter of 30cm. The appropriate bulb with an E27 socket can be ordered under accessories. This lamp will sit pretty in any room in a house including the living room, dining room or a table in an entryway.
