The Knitting Lounge Chair is a design classic that was originally created in 1951 with cut-outs specifically added to give knitters elbow room. The design was hugely popular throughout the 50s and 60s, and thanks to the current interest in mid-century Scandinavian furniture, the Knitting Lounge Chair has been reintroduced. With a curved back and triangular frame, the chair looks good from every angle and can be placed in any part of a room. Offering the ideal position for reading the paper, the seat height is 30cm which is lower than a dining chair. The frame is made from stained, waxed solid oak, with the seat and back created from leather which takes on a pleasingly worn patina over time.
