IC S2 Suspension lamp
The IC S2 Suspension lamp was created by Michael Anastassiades for Italian lighting company Flos.
Flos first opened its doors in 1962 and has grown from its humble beginnings in a tiny workshop in Merano. Since the 60s, it has evolved into a lighting empire with a global following and the respect of its peers.
Michael Anastassiades opened his first studio in 1994 where he specialised in furniture, product and environmental design. His creations are best characterised by their simplicity, often with one stand-out feature that most would not expect.
The IC S2 Suspension lamp is just one of Michael Anastassiades' beautiful works of art. It is a pendant light with an abstract design that brings a modern edge to any room in which it is placed. The body of the suspension lamp is made out of gorgeous opal glass, whereas the mount is available in either brass or steel depending on your preferences and interior decor scheme. It weighs approximately 3.9 kg and is 70.2cm in length and 30cm in diameter. Along with this, it comes with the VDE, Italy Cal and EN-EC seals of approval.
