Graphite Suspension Lamp
The Graphite Suspension Lamp has been created by the in-house studio for the brand Tala. London-based Tala is a lighting studio which seeks to exploit the latest technology while incorporating the best of classic British design into every product. Named after the colour of its diffuser casing, the Graphite Suspension Lamp contrasts powder coated aluminium with a bright E27 bulb. The appropriate light source can be orderd under accessories. The main diffuser has been made from semi-transparent plastic, has a curved, almost cylindrical form, and measures 6.5cm in height and 4cm in width. It hangs from a 300cm cable which can be adjusted to suit different settings. It fits into a stable canopy, ensuring that the lamp will perform reliably for extended periods. Inside the diffuser, the designers have added an energy efficient illuminant, although illuminants of alternative energy classes can be swapped in as needed. The Graphite Suspension Lamp is also externally dimmable if users desire, enabling them to raise the brightness for social events, and create muted atmospheres for relaxation. Overall, it's a stunning achievement for one of the UK's most innovative studios.
