Globo Hanger
The Globo Hanger was designed by Enzo Mari for Magis.
This Italian manufacturer works with many high-profile designers, especially those whose design principles harmonise with Magis' own passion for quality, playfulness and innovation. Three-time Compasso d'Oro award winner, Mari is both artist and designer. His household designs are known for their experimentation with form, as can be seem with the unique Globo Hanger.
The globe-like shape of the hanger is accompanied by a another hook below for additional hanging. The main 'globe' is constructed of polypropylene whilst the curved hook below is made from visually contrasting steel. Both of these materials make the product suitable for use with damp items. The rounded form of the main knob is interrupted by a striking square recess at the centre of the orb.
Ideally placed in a hallway for use with coats and bags, these hangers could also be fitted behind bedroom doors, in the bathroom for hanging towels or in the kitchen for tea towel storage. The Globo Hanger is available in a wide range of finishes and can be bought alone or in multiples for additional storage solutions.
