Flamingo 1510 LED Suspension Lamp
The Flamingo 1510 LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Antoni Arola for the brand Vibia. Flamingo has won numerous awards, including the 2017 Wallpaper Design Award the the 2016 Design Plus Light+Building Award, and it's easy to see why. Its poetic form and exceptional performance make this innovative pendant a stunning addition to living spaces of all kinds.
The Flamingo 1510 LED Suspension Lamp is comprised of two disc-shaped diffusers, both of which have been made from translucent thermoplastic. Light is cast upwards onto the base of these diffusers from a cylindrical LED luminaire, creating glare-free illumination across a wide area. This light can also be dimmed from 1-10V via external dimmers, creating the ideal atmosphere.
The Flamingo 1510 LED Suspension Lamp also includes steel and aluminium elements for the luminaire and frame. It comes in a range of colours, including matt satined gold, matt graphite, and RAL9016 white. All models have a height of 80cm and a diameter of 70cm. They connect to a 16cm diameter ceiling canopy via an adjustable 200cm long cable, and the whole ensemble weighs 4.7kg. Light is provided by an extremely energy efficient two-bulb array which is fixed inside the luminaire.
