Dreh Extension Element
The Dreh Extension Element has been created by Eigenwert for the brand Tojo. This extension is made to expand the Dreh Rack. This storage and display unit was awarded the 2014 Interior Innovation Award and nominated for the 2015 German Design Award.
The Dreh Extension Element resembles the Dreh Rack so that the unit can have a uniform, streamlined look when the two are joined together. Both the extension element and the basic module have shelves made of steel profile boards that are covered with white powder coating. On the underside, each shelf has a support that is made of solid oak. The oak has been left to look natural. Its warm, brown tones stand out against the white shelves which adds a subtle aesthetic detail that works well with the unit's style of simplicity.
These supports have magnets in them that hold them securely along the length of the shelf. They can be placed at different positions on the shelf to suit your required needs, or to create an aesthetically pleasing shape. They have a look that is similar to that of book support. The Dreh Extension Element has a width of 141cm, a height of 35.5cm and a depth of 34cm.
