Belleville Outdoor Armchair Plastic
The versatile Belleville Outdoor Armchair Plastic is a design created by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for the Swiss manufacturer Vitra.
Vitra is a family-owned company known for its high-quality, award-winning designs since 1950. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec are brothers that have had their furniture designs shown in museum and gallery shows all across the world, such as in the Design Museum in London. They were inspired to create the slick, streamlined Belleville Outdoor Armchair Plastic after noticing similar, less efficient designs in the cafes of Paris that were often cumbersome and difficult to stack.
The chair is made from an elegant but durable curved frame which supports the wide seat and tapered backrest. The lightweight chair is made from hard-wearing polyamide, allowing for easy stacking and movement, so they are perfect for using in cafes, restaurants and outdoor gardens, patios and terraces. The Belleville Outdoor Armchair Plastic measures 83cm high, 55cm wide and 50cm deep, with a seat height of 47cm. The generous size, comfortable shape and lightweight nature of these chairs make them a fantastic way to add a touch of sophistication to both commercial and private outdoor areas where space is precious.
