Ambit Suspension Lamp Ø40cm
The Ambit Suspension Lamp Ø40cm has been created by TAF Studio for the brand Muuto. The designers were inspired by a quest to explore forms and proportions. The lamp combines lines and circular shapes into a piece with a very unique outline.
The Ambit Suspension Lamp Ø40cm is handcrafted using traditional brazier methods that involve press spinning by hand. Painting and polishing are also done by hand. The lamp's dome-shaped shade is made of hand-spun aluminium. While it is finished with paint, the inside is white. In addition to creating contrast with the exterior, it enables the lamp to cast warm, white light. The shade houses a diffuser that softens the light that is cast downwards.
The Ambit Suspension Lamp Ø40cm has a height of 23.8cm and a diameter of 40cm. Its cable is 400cm long. The lamp can be dimmed if a dimmable bulb is used. It comes in light and dark neutral colours as well as soft pastel shades. Colours can be chosen to blend in with other decor pieces or to create contrast. It works with an E27 socket and the light source has to be purchased separately. It can be used anywhere in a home from over tables, entryways, living rooms and bedrooms.
