Akari 14A Floor Lamp

The Akari 14 A Floor Lamp was designed by Isamu Noguchi for Vitra in the year 1951.

The Akari Light Sculptures by Vitra - so also the Akari 14A Floor Lamp - are manufactured of Japanese shoji paper. This special material and the imaginative shapes of the Akari Light Sculptures make the lamp into a real piece of art. The Akari 14A Floor Lamp by Vitra features a die-cast iron frame, the paper lamp shade is fastened with bamboo. The floor lamp by Vitra is about 158 cm high, the lamp shade's diameter measures about 51 cm on its widest spot.
