Acorn Suspension Lamp
The Acorn Suspension Lamp has been created by Atle Tveit for the brand Northern. Norwegian industrial designer Tveit is known for pieces that cut both ways in terms of being traditional and modern at the same time. He does this by adhering to the Scandanavian fundamentals of designs that have clean, uncluttered lines and then adding finishing touches that cross a design over to the present day. He accomplished this and beautifully so with the Acorn Suspension Lamp. This hemispherical lamp has a wide diameter just like that of an acorn. The shade is nipped at the top and decorated with a wooden ring which can be light beech or dark walnut. The shade is made of aluminum and is finished with a powder coating.
The Acorn Suspension Lamp has a height of 34cm and a diameter of 48cm. Its canopy has a diameter of 18cm and its cable is 300cm. The lamp can be dimmed with an external dimmer. It comes in a selection of neutral colours but the inside is white in all of them so that the lamp casts a warm, white light that is directed downwards. The appropriate lamp with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
