Erosion Rosegold Carpet
The Erosion Rosegold Carpet has been created by Moooi Carpets for the brand Moooi Carpets. The carpet gets its name from its design which has rich tones of colours on one part and a faded one next to it making some parts look threadbare. The design is inspired by the transitions that happen in nature such as the weather and different seasons.
The Erosion Rosegold Carpet has imagery that comes alive so vividly because of the fabric it is printed on and the way the printing is done. The carpet is made of polyamide, a synthetic fabric that is the most hardwearing type of nylon. In addition to resilience, another reason it is used for carpets is that it takes dye very well so it portrays an image with life-like vibrancy. Printing is achieved digitally using a Chromojet printer. Its inkjets are computer-controlled so the exact amount of dye with precisely set colour tones is measured accurately. The dye is injected exactly where it is needed in the fabric following the design. This gives the result of an amazingly brilliant image.
The Erosion Rosegold Carpet comes in two sizes. The smaller one has a 250cm diameter while the larger one has one of 350cm. It comes in multi-colour with predominant shades of rose and gold.
