Hochstapler Basic Element
The Hochstapler Basic Element has been created by Dirk Frömchen for Tojo. This element is used to make a shelf system that is free-standing and that can be expanded vertically or horizontally. The element is designed in a way that locks securely onto other elements.
The Hochstapler Basic Element is made of MDF that is coated with melamine resin. It has cutouts on either side at the top and grooves at the bottom for this purpose. This prevents an element from slipping and ensures that it can hold the weight of the items placed on it. This design also makes it possible to keep adding elements going up or across until your shelving system is at the width and height that you want. This option means that you can build different shelving systems for different rooms. In the living room, it can be used as a TV unit or a high bookshelf. In a studio apartment or a children's bedroom that is shared, it can be used as a room divider.
The Hochstapler Basic Element has a width of 76cm, a height of 38.3cm and a depth of 32cm. There is the option of an open one or one with double doors.
