Giravolta 1799 LED Outdoor Lamp with Battery H 50cm
The Giravolta 1799 LED Outdoor Lamp with Battery H 50cm was designed by Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari for the Italian manufacturer Pedrali.
Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari have worked together since 1997 and created several successful construction and interior design projects in this time. Strong and clean lines are characteristic of all their designs and they won the Young and Design prize in 1999 and the Good Design Award in 2007.
The Giravolta 1799 LED Outdoor Lamp with Battery H 50cm has a unique, contemporary design; it can be used both in and outside thanks to the plastic material of the base and diffuser and the extruded aluminium of the arc, which can be used as a practical handle. The diffuser can be rotated 360 degrees, meaning you have full control over the direction of the light, and a magnet optional in the base can be used to secure the lamp on metal surfaces. It has a height of 50cm, diameter of 15cm, and features an LED board diffuser and lithium battery. The two designers have received a number of awards for this iconic lamp, including the Silver Prize in the European Product Design Awards in 2018.
