Africa Armchair
The Africa Armchair was designed by Eugeni Quitllet for the Vondom label and is a fresh, attractive piece of modern design that would work just as well in dining rooms as on outdoor terraces.
Born in Catalonia in 1972, Quitllet's trademarks are elegantly sculpted curves, imaginative designs and an aesthetic sensibility that comes from having a background in sculpture. All of this is on display with the Africa Armchair.
Made from a resilient mixture of propylene and fibreglass, the armchair will stand up to tough outdoor conditions and be easy to clean whenever required. It has a comfortable wraparound backrest that provides plenty of comfort for the sitter, while the four slender plastic legs make it nice and stable, wherever you deploy it.
This Vondom armchair has dimensions of 58 x 75 x 53 cm, and a seat height of 45cm - it's the ideal shape and height for carrying to different parts of the house and settling in for an afternoon of reading or a cup of coffee as the sun goes down. Moreover, as the Africa Armchair is designed to be stackable, it can be easily stored away tidily as well.
