Rion Garden Chair
The Rion Garden Chair was designed by designers Andrea Radice and Folco Orlandini, designers for furniture label Fast.
Radice was born in 1979 and took an apprenticeship at design studio Lucci and Orlandini prior to working with Rodolfo Dordoni on designs for furniture companies. Orlandini began his career as a designer for a concept car at Alfa Romeo and has since evolved to work mainly in furniture design. The duo have been recognised with many design prizes including the Good Design Award and first prize in the MOV Design contest.
The Rion Garden Chair updates the traditional garden chair design with a streamlined shape and a contemporary stripe-patternd seat and backrest. Available in a range of sophisticated shades, this chair complements any outdoor space including balconies and gardens. The powder-coated aluminium construction resists weather conditions and staining to provide years of durable use and is easy to maintain. You can sit comfortably for hours in this chair thanks to its compact but supportive dimensions of 48cm wide, 80cm high, 54cm deep with a seat height of 44cm. Weighing just 5kg and featuring a stacking design, you can also store several of these chairs away neatly and with ease.
