Park Barstool
The Park Barstool was designed by Neuland Industriedesign for acclaimed furniture manufacturers B-Line.
The designer duo comprises Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher, who are both design graduates specialising in the fields of furniture and lighting design. In 2005, the pair began designing furniture objects for international customers, going on to receive several prizes for their innovative designs including the Elle Deco Design Award in 2006 and the coveted Compasso D'Oro in 2007. Today, both designers also work as university lecturers instilling their belief in their students that 'products are the expression of an outlook on life'.
The Park Barstool takes a fresh look at the traditional bar stool design with slim, modern lines and a clean monotone colour scheme. Owing to its narrow, space-saving design, the barstool can be used in any space including the home kitchen or at wine bars and restaurants. Its striking design may look minimal, but the grid pattern and armchair-style backrest provide excellent comfort and ergonomic support for the back and legs. The chair is constructed of durable, painted steel pipe and measures 51cm wide by 95cm high and has a seat height of 77cm and a seat depth of 44.5cm.
