Tropique Outdoor Dining Chair Frame White
The Tropique Outdoor Dining Chair Frame White has been created by Mathieu Matégot for the brand Gubi. Hungarian architect and industrial designer Matégot pioneeed Rigitulle, a technique that made it possible to bend, fold and shape metal into novel forms. The Tropique Outdoor Dining Chair Frame White showcases this technique, adding an exotic touch to everyday exteriors.
This original chair has a frame made of stainless steel rods that have been formed into a distinctive and visually appealing set of curves. The wide backrest has been made from Udine Limonta fabric and reaches about halfway down the frame, with an elegantly curved upper edge. The seat is also well-sized and has convenient armrests positioned on either side. They are raised high and curved outwards - a hallmark of Matégot's style. The seat is also upholstered with Udine Limonta fabric and has a foam filling. It rests on a slender stainless steel frame, and the sled-style legs feature plastic gliders. Bars running along and across the legs to form handy footrests.
The Tropique Outdoor Dining Chair Frame White has a width of 71cm, a height of 86cm and a depth of 58cm, with an armrest height of 68.5cm and a seat height of 45cm. It is available in white and beige colours.
