Niwa Garden Chair
The Niwa Garden Chair was created by designers Robby and Francesca Cantarutti for the furniture manufactuers Fast.
The duo's design studio was founded in 1995 in Buttrtio Udine and deals with both architectural and industrial design as well as furniture. Hallmarks of the designers include a focus on small details and fun designs without sacrificing the functionality of the object. They keep abreast of new technologies and production techniques to ensure that their designs work in synthesis with modern processes, creating pieces with maximum impact and longevity, defined by clean lines and the simple use of space. They have won several design awards during the Top Ten and Maniago Coltelli contests.
The Niwa Garden Chair is stylish and features a durable powder-coated aluminium construction which is ideal for outdoor use. With two slanting back legs, the chair has an ergonomic shape that ensures a comfortable sitting position. The slatted design maximises airflow, which offers an airy sitting experience that keeps the user feeling refreshed. Standing at 79cm high, 51cm wide and 51cm deep, the chair has a comfortable seat height of 44cm. The chair weighs only 7kg, making it easy to move into place for outdoor parties and events.
