Palissade Dining Bench
The Palissade Dining Bench was designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for the brand HAY.
Brotherly design duo Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec hail from Brittany and are noted for their designs and artistic installations, some of which are permanently housed in museums such as the MoMA in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Among the duo's clients is the Danish design company HAY, which was founded in 2002.
With its characteristic slatted design reminiscent of Breton stripes, the Palissade Dining Bench is a perfect example of the duo's incredible attention to detail. It is part of a range of garden furniture created to be particularly weather-resistant. The powder-coated steel frame is extremely sturdy, while the ergonomic shape of the back makes it comfortable to sit on. The Palissade Dining Bench offers classic design with a modern edge. Thanks to its width of 128cm, it can comfortably seat up to three people. It will look great against a red brick wall or on a wooden veranda.
