Bertoia Garden Bench 183cm
The Bertoia Garden Bench 183cm was designed by the late Harry Bertoia for Knoll International.
Born in San Lorenzo, Italy in 1915, Bertoia worked his way up through the ranks to become a well-known and respected international sculptor, artist and furniture designer. Bertoia started out as a painting student but was asked to take over a metal workshop in 1939, beginning his training in jewellery design and metal work. He moved to California in 1946 and later to Pennsylvania in 1950. During this time he designed five wire objects that later became known as the Bertoia Collection for Knoll and featured the famous diamond chair.
The Bertoia Garden Bench 183cm has a sophisticated minimalist design that suits any outdoor space including gardens, balconies and terraces.
