VL38 LED Wall Lamp
The VL38 LED Wall Lamp was designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen for the brand Louis Poulsen.
Lauritzen was a key player in the Danish design scene from the 1930s until his death in 1984, as well as being one of the nation's foremost architects and interior designers. In recent times, his lighting products have been rediscovered thanks to their effortless combination of modern production techniques and artistic composition.
Lauritzen's creations also score well with their functional strengths - with diffusers that generate effective but glare-free light, while adding a touch of aesthetic quality to rooms when not in use. Brought back to the market by Louis Paulson , the VL38 LED Wall Lamp demonstrates this clearly. Attaching to the wall and offering an excellent solution for localised lighting, it has an elegantly composed white powder coated brass diffuser which reflects light from the 9.6W LED downwards. Equipped with a 330cm cord, the unit measures just 13.5 x 19 cm and connects securely to surfaces via a round aluminium base. Users can apply dimming functions as desired, and it's also possible to set timers to turn the VL38 LED Wall Lamp on or off automatically.
