Counterbalance LED Wall Lamp
The Counterbalance LED Wall Lamp has been created by Daniel Rybakken for the brand Luceplan. Born in Norway and settled in Sweden, this Master of Fine Arts graduate works out of studios in Oslo and Gothenburg. He often designs around the theme of daylight and recreating it artificially. His unparalleled works have seen him collect many prestigious awards, including the Red Dot Award, the Bruno Mathsson Award, the Compasso d'Oro and the Wallpaper Design Award.
The talented designer ventured into new frontiers with the Counterbalance LED Wall Lamp. This novel creation seems to defy physics and gives the appearance of being suspended in space. Its position can be adjusted and is suggestive of the dynamic equilibrium of a sculptural mobile. Its fluid movement is enabled by a balancing system that uses gear wheels. The movement of the lamp's long arm is compensated for by the counterweight, which also ensures that the diffuser remains stable. Available in various colours, the Counterbalance LED Wall Lamp has dimensions of 191.6cm in length and 8.5cm in diameter with a diffuser that has an 8.5cm diameter.
