Ghost Table Lamp
The Ghost Table Lamp has been created by Andreas Kowalewski for the brand Woud. German industrial designer Kowalewski strives to create product solutions for everyday life that are modern and meaningful. He does this by cutting out complexity of form and function while challenging the norm to come up with some very unique forms. The Ghost Table Lamp aptly captures his aspirations. It is a contemporary take on the classic oil lamp. It has a luminous, almost ethereal look and feel. Its shade, which is made from mouth-blown opal triplex glass, is shaped into a dome. A subtle vertical groove pattern adds intrigue. It is stacked on a metallic frame fashioned from narrow rods that supports and protects the lamp. One curved rod arcs over the lamp and attractively accents the lamp's graceful curves. It also serves as a hand-touch dimmer for the push version.
The Ghost Table Lamp has a height of 38cm and a diameter of 15cm. The appropriate bulb with the E14 socket can be ordered under accessories. The lamp comes in three different sizes and colours, making it possible to create a number of personalised lighting effects. This unexampled lamp will look outstanding in a hallway, on a side table in a living room or in a study.
