Atman LED Table Lamp
The Atman LED Table Lamp has been created by Enzo Catellani for the brand Catellani & Smith. Its design is inspired by the healing crystals or holy stones that are found in India. Its name Atman is from Sanskrit, one of the languages in the country. It means soul.
When he came across the stones in India he was immediately inspired. The innovative designer took them and fashioned them into the Atman LED Table Lamp that can also double as a paperweight. Its body is made of clear crystal and it rests on a base made of nickel. The metallic base conceals an LED light source that casts light upwards at an angle. When the lamp is turned on, this configuration creates dramatic patterns of light and shadows on the wall where the light is pointed. The front of it has a shield that prevents glare. When it is off, the lamp can hold its own as a decorative item on a desk. It can also be used as a very stylish paperweight thanks to the weight of the crystal it is made of.
The Atman LED Table Lamp has a width of 16cm and a height of 8cm. It is dimmable using specific types of external dimmers.
