Vertigo Suspension Lamp M
The Vertigo Suspension Lamp M has been created by Constance Guisset for the brand Petite Friture. It is a class of its own in regard to style and the materials it is made of. It won its designer the Villa Noailles Award in 2006 and the CNAP Award in 2015.
The Vertigo Suspension Lamp M has a shade that resembles a lady's sun hat that has a curved rim. It is made of fibreglass and polyurethane ribbons that have been fashioned into wire-thin ribbons. They are assembled by hand. They have different lengths and they face different directions which is how the curves on the shade are created. They are held together in the middle and with a rim that encircles all the ribbons. When the lamp is on, they create an intriguing pattern of light and shadows on the wall. The middle also has a small encasing that holds the lamp's light source. The casing is made of closely spaced bars which enhances the lamp's light, airy look.
The Vertigo Suspension Lamp M has a height of 15cm and a diameter of 140cm. Its cable has a length of 300cm. It comes in different colours ranging from neutrals to bright ones. It works with an E27 socket.
