Pix Suspension Lamp
The Pix Suspension Lamp has been created by Simon Legald for the brand Normannn Copenhagen. It is in the class of Sustainable Choice products. It is a qualification that is earned by the 100% recycled material it is made from.
The Pix Suspension Lamp is the designers' take on the conventional orb-shaped pendant lamp. It is made of 100% Low-Density Polyethylene Industrial Waste 'LDPE'. It has different shades of white and is granulated which is an added aesthetic detail. Another one is the illusion that the shade is opaque when the lamp is turned off. When it is on, its look changes to become translucent. The shade is suspended from the ceiling with a textile cable. It has a varnished steel ceiling canopy.
The Pix Suspension Lamp comes in different sizes. The smallest one has a height of 20cm and a diameter of 20cm and the next one in size has a height of 30cm and a diameter of 30cm. The mid-sized one has a height of 45cm and a diameter of 45cm while the largest one has a height of 60cm and a diameter of 60cm. It is not dimmable and is available in neutral colours. It is compatible with an E27 socket and a bulb has to be purchased separately.
