Pirce Micro LED Suspension Lamp
The Pirce Micro LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà for the brand Artemide. Composed from a series of slanted discs, Pirce is a wildly imaginative interpretation of traditional pendant lamps which has won iF Design Awards and Good Design Awards. This entry in the family is a compact pendant that will add visual appeal to living rooms, bedrooms, and offices alike.
The standout aspect of the Pirce Micro LED Suspension Lamp is its diffuser design. This element has been formed from an arrangement of moulded aluminium discs which flow into each other in an irregular helix shape. The white or gold tone of these discs reflects light from the bowl-shaped luminaire which sits at the bottom of the spiral, casting a complex indirect light, while creating intriguing shadows on the ceiling above.
The Pirce Micro LED Suspension Lamp measures 48cm long and 46.5cm wide, and it has a suspension height of 200cm. The lamp connects to a circular ceiling canopy via a series of three discreet cables, and the height can be adjusted as needed. External dimming can also be applied via push dimmers, and the lamp accommodates a fixed bulb which cannot be replaced.
