Margin Suspension Lamp Ø90cm
The Margin Suspension Lamp Ø90cm has been created by John Astbury for the brand New Works. It is the designer's take on the classic round lamp. He reimagined it with tiers formed by intersecting shades which created a whole new look.
The Margin Suspension Lamp Ø90cm has round shades made of fabric that allow soft, diffused light to shine through. The smaller shade fits into the lower circumference of the larger one. The two are joined by a dark cable that contrasts with their light colour and creates a clean, sleek silhouette. The cable extends just a little over the lower, smaller shade which adds a subtle aesthetic detail that works well with the overall minimalist look of the lamp. The steel cable goes into a round canopy that attaches the lamp to the ceiling.
The Margin Suspension Lamp Ø90cm has a height of 79cm and a diameter of 88cm. Its cable has a length of 350cm. It cannot be dimmed. The lamp uses an E27 socket. It will cast a warm, soft light over a dining or kitchen table and it can also be used in commercial spaces such as over restaurant tables and office desks.
