Lantern Suspension Lamp L
The Lantern Suspension Lamp L has been created by Anderssen & Voll for the brand New Works. Lantern is an innovative combination of traditional Chinese rice paper construction with the latest materials. Beautifully pure and refined, this suspension lamp will add soft illumination to larger rooms and workspaces while providing a gorgeous visual accent.
The Lantern Suspension Lamp L has an almost spherical form which looks at first glance like it has been made from a sheet of translucent paper. However, the designers have actually used extremely thin mouth blown opal glass for the exterior, and this material has been folded into a series of ridges. The result is a muted and attractive light source which hangs from a height adaptable 340cm cable.
The Lantern Suspension Lamp L measures 30cm high and has a diameter of 40cm. The lamp weighs 3.5kg, so it should be easy to handle during installation and maintenance, and this larger version will provide enough brightness to light medium sized rooms around the home. Medium and smaller Lantern lamps are also available and can be arranged in stylish ensembles. This version requires a single bulb and the appropriate lamp with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
