Karl-Johan LED Suspension Lamp Ø23cm
The Karl-Johan LED Suspension Lamp Ø23cm has been created by Signe Hytte for the brand New Works. When creating this sensuous pendant lamp, Hytte took inspiration from autumn excursions to the woods to hunt for mushrooms. And the intriguing form of this lamp certainly resembles a mushroom on the forest floor. But it's more than a work of art. This stunning pendant provides a warm glow that will make kitchens and bedrooms more restful, enjoyable places to be.
The Karl-Johan LED Suspension Lamp Ø23cm has a rounded diffuser which has been made from mouth-blown opal or smoke-coloured glass and has a diameter of 23cm. This bulbous diffuser is allowed to show off its curves thanks to a discrete steel socket with a powder-coated finish. This attaches to a 13cm diameter canopy via a 340cm cable which can be adjusted to suit different ceiling heights.
The cable of the Karl-Johan LED Suspension Lamp Ø23cm has a two-part construction. An almost invisible straight metal element supports a gently winding black cord, making the resemblance to a mushroom even more effective.
