Ihana x2 LED Suspension Lamp
The Ihana x2 LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Joanna Laajisto for the brand Marset. Introduced in 2021, Ihana contrasts the subtlety and sensuality of opal glass with metallic structures and fully lives up to its name, which means 'exquisite' in Laajisto's native Finnish.
The Ihana x2 LED Suspension Lamp consists of two disc-shaped diffusers, both of which are made from hand blown opal glass. These diffusers are attached to a linear metal frame featuring two vertical columns and a horizontal support, and the two vertical elements connect to 12cm wide and 3cm high ceiling canopies. Each diffuser has a diameter of 30cm, and the total length of the duo is 99cm. Two versions are available, with total heights of either 100cm of 150cm. Either will offer enough illumination for larger spaces and can be fitted into rooms with diverse ceiling heights.
The Ihana x2 LED Suspension Lamp can be controlled externally via dim to warm technology ranging from inviting 3000K settings to a candle-like 1800K. The weight is either 4.8kg or 5.1kg depending on which lamp height is selected. The lamp uses a pair of bulbs and the luminaire has built-in LED light sources that cannot be replaced.
