Assolo LED Suspension Lamp
The Assolo LED Suspension Lamp was created by Luta Bettonica for luxurious Italian lighting manufacturer Cini & Nils.
Cini & Nils was founded in 1969 by a dynamic pairing of designers who sought to take their ideas direct to market. The two designers Mario Melocchi and Franco Bettonica went on to produce a truly eclectic and mesmerising collection of products during their time with the brand, with several of their creations now on permanent display at the New York Museum of Modern Art. Only a few years into the life of the brand, Franco Bettonica unveiled one of his most memorable creations: the Cuboluce. This unique piece blurred the lines between functional lighting and décor, redefining what was once the everyday into something truly special.
The Assolo LED Suspension Lamp is the brainchild of Luta Bettonica, daughter of Franco and the current president of the Milan-based company. This suspension lamp is a celebration of minimalist design, featuring a sleek ringlet body that's suspended by two discreet wires for minimum intrusion into your living spaces. The LED fittings themselves are mounted along the inner circumference of the ring, producing a more honed and focused light that's ideal for spotlighting.
