It flares at the top to create the illusion of a collar and it has a metallic tone at the bottom. The second shade that envelopes it is round and uniformly coloured. There is a play on shape though; it gradually broadens out towards the bottom. A metallic cover caps the top of the shade. It is a small, round one that enhances the tier aesthetic. The shade houses a diffuser that casts a soft, white light.
The Anniversary Edition Utzon JU1 Suspension has a height of 22cm and a diameter of 23cm. Its textile cable has a length of 400cm. It is not dimmable. The Anniversary Edition comes in steel blue. It is compatible with an E27 socket and the bulb has to be purchased separately.
