Wire Floor Lamp
The Wire Floor Lamp has been created by Verner Panton for the brand Verpan. Named after the metal wire frame which forms the central column of the lamp, this product first appeared in 1972 and has become a modern design classic. Mixing space age aesthetics with a high level of performance, it will suit living rooms and bedrooms alike.
The Wire Floor Lamp has a slender central column with a rounded diffuser which is composed from plastic. The column and base are made from stainless steel wire, and the spine has been shaped to ensure that the lamp can be carried with ease. The hemispheric plastic diffuser also includes a small metallic reflector which casts a muted but insistent ambient light that will complement main lighting or create a restful atmosphere on its own.
The Wire Floor Lamp has a height of 120cm and a diameter of 40cm. It is supplied with a 250cm long power cable which also houses the switch, and this cable runs inside the column to reach the diffuser. The Wire Floor Lamp weighs 8.3kg and requires a single halogen bulb. The appropriate lamp with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
